• Plant annuals and perennials as well as blooming shrubs, trees, and vines to color your landscape through spring and summer. • Watch for June bugs and apply beneficial nematodes to prevent grubworm damage. Beneficial nematodes will also control fleas, fireants, termites, wireworms, and other damaging insects and their larvae. • Plant warm weather vegetables tomato transplants and seeds for squash, beans, melons, cucumbers, and others. Feed existing vegetables. • Cut back spring blooming shrubs as flowers fade. This includes Indian hawthorne, spirea, & quince. • Clean existing birdhouses and put up new ones to attract insect-eating songbirds. Also put up hummingbird feeders. • FEED EVERY PLANT IN YOUR LANDSCAPE with Landscape Essentials fertilizer!
